Avocado -- as much as you desire
Onion -- diced very small, in proportion to the avocado
Garlic -- plenty, minced, pressed, or crushed, whichever you prefer
Lemon juice -- best if fresh squeezed, to taste
Salt -- more than a pinch, less than a handful
